Every year for the last 15 years, on the occasion of the
London Wine Trade Fair, the International Wine Challenge
has organised one of the most complete blind tastings
in the world. More than 8,500 wines from nearly 33 different
countries are tasted by 450 professionals, including 40
Masters of Wine. In May 2001, our wines obtained the following
results :
- Silver Medal : Nuits-Saint-Georges 1999
- Bronze Medal : Chablis 2000

Laboure Roi's headquarters is a ultra-modern, and robot-laden
winemaking facility. The firm organises seminars on
vinification and also sends oenologists to the domaines
to assistin the winemaking.Laboure Roi has created a
new corporation of sorts with seven of its growers to
lock them into being suppliers and to assist them in
their production. "

TASTEVIN AWARDS: Twice a year, in spring and in autumn,
the Brotherhood of the Knights of Tastevin meets at the
Château du Clos de Vougeot for "Tastevinage", the largest
blind tasting event organised for the côtes de Nuits et
de Beaune. Our range of tastevinés wines includes the following appellations:

Since 1949, the winegrowers of Mercurey have also joined
together in a brotherhood called "The Brotherhood of Saint-Vincent
and disciples of La Chanteflute" whose mission is to make
known the wines of the Mercurey region by selecting the
best at an annual competition. Among our wines, the following

Every year at the Mâcon Wine Fair, the Brotherhood of
the Winegrowers of Saint-Vincent de Mâcon organises the
"Competition of the Great Wines of France". Close to 2,000
wine-tasters from all over the world award 3 types of
Medals - Gold, Silver and Bronze - to the best wines in
the blind tasting. We are very pleased to announce that,

Once a year, the official Burgondia d'Or contest gives awards to the producers of the best Burgundy wines at a blind tasting by professionals and connoisseurs.
